HI-TEC OILS TO SPONSOR DEBUT BATHURST SIX-HOUR ENDURO

HI-TEC OILS, one of Australia’s largest independent oil manufacturers, will be the naming-rights sponsor for the inaugural Bathurst 6 Hour Production Car race to be held at the 2016 Bathurst Motor Festival.

Event promoter Yeehah Events is also pleased to confirm the appointment of production house AVE to provide television services, allowing the inaugural race to be streamed live on the internet on Sunday, 27 March. All Bathurst Motor Festival categories competing that Sunday will receive streaming coverage.

Nightingale named to drive for CXC Global alongside Dylan Thomas

With the inaugural Bathurst 6 Hour race for Production Touring Cars already creating an enormous amount of interest right across Australia and internationally, a Narrabeen based team have become the first of the front running teams to announce their driver line-up.

The CXC Global Racing team used facebook to announce they had signed 27 year old Terry Nightingale, a very talented driver from Bathurst with a very impressive CV to join Dylan Thomas in the team Mitsubishi Evo X.

BATHURST 6 HOUR CONFIRMED FOR 2016 BATHURST MOTOR FESTIVAL

A SIX HOUR endurance race for Production Cars is set to be the highlight of the 2016 Bathurst Motor Festival.

To be promoted and organised by Yeehah Events, the promoters of the annual Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, the race will be staged for cars built to CAMS 3E Production Car regulations. 

Organisers will also consult the similar Australian Manufacturers Championship rulebook prior to finalising the unique eligibility and technical regulations for the race with CAMS later this year.

MOTOR FESTIVAL CONCLUDES IN THE BATHURST SUN

THE SUN SHONE on the closing day of the 2015 Bathurst Motor Festival at Mount Panorama today with competitors, officials and fans alike relishing dry conditions after two days of soaking rain.

In typical Bathurst style, however, the drama didn’t abate with the rain with plenty of close racing and on-track incidents filtered throughout the day.

Rod Salmon returned serve on rival Neale Muston by winning the second CUE Sports Car enduro today in a race that featured two lengthy Safety Car periods.

SUNDAY: HAPPY EASTER

EASTER SUNDAY has dawned bright and stunning in Bathurst.

After two days of quite torrential rain, it looks as though competitors might well get some dry running - and fans some blue skies - for the final day of the 2015 Bathurst Motor Festival.

There's another packed program on track today with the final races for each category to be staged today.
